Road signs indicating directions to Sermièrs, Villers-Allerand, Épernay, and Chapel Down, set against a rural landscape with vineyards and rolling hills under a clear blue sky.

Chapelle en Bas

BRIEF

Create a disruptive moment that sets Chapel Down apart during English Wine Week.

EMOTIONAL TRIGGER

Brits are a bit snobby about English Sparkling Wine. It's still seen as sub-par to Champagne, in terms of quality and taste.

OPPORTUNITIES TO STIR

We went undercover as ‘Chapelle en Bas’ for a blind tasting stunt in the heart of Champagne, pitting Chapel Down against a famous Champagne house.

Filming the live results of our taste test, as well as capturing photography, we created content that proved English Sparkling Wine tastes as good as (perhaps even better than) the French fizz.

Three waitstaff members standing behind a black table with the signage 'Chapelle en Bas' in front of a building with a sign indicating a street name in French. The station is in front of a building with French signs for a champagne bar and wine bar. The wait staff are dressed in white shirts and black aprons, smiling.
